Regional Plan Public Hearing

The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission will hold its final public hearing to review amendments proposed for the 2008 Central Vermont Regional Plan.  The goals and policies of the Plan affect the entire geographic area of Central Vermont (the 20 municipalities in Washington County and the Towns of Orange, Washington, and Williamstown in Orange County).  A copy of the proposed amendments has been provided to each municipality.  Copies are also available for review at the office of the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission, 29 Main Street, Suite 4, Montpelier, VT 05602 (second floor above Rite Aid) or on the CVRPC website centralvtplanning.org.  CVRPC is proposing amendments to the Land Use Elements and revised Future Land Use map. Comments on the Plan can be sent by e-mail to aloisio@cvregion.com. The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce’s conference room, Paine Turnpike South, Berlin, exit 7 off of I-89.  The Commission will consider new comments received and will consider adoption of these amendments at the close of this hearing.
