Button Up Day of Action – Request for Proposals

Efficiency Vermont is seeking proposals from town energy committees and other comparable community-based organizations and groups to support community-based public outreach efforts around 2016 Button Up Day of Action. Local energy groups are encouraged to think broadly about the best ways to engage with community members around improving thermal efficiency, and are encouraged to implement community engagement activities both on and leading up to Button Up Day – scheduled for November 12, 2016. Efficiency Vermont anticipates awarding up to 15 grants with a maximum amount of $2,500/grant. The community mini-grants are part of a larger promotional effort that Efficiency Vermont plans to implement in the fall 2016 to promote home efficiency improvements.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 5:00 p.m., September 7, 2016, but the deadline for submitting a letter of support has been extended to September 30, 2016.
