Since 1983, CVRPC has assisted in the formation of several municipal organizations that work closely with the Regional Commission. Those partners include: Wrightsville Beach, Mad River Valley Planning District, and Mad River Resource Management Alliance
Wrightsville Beach Recreation District: The Towns of East Montpelier, Middlesex, and Worcester and the City of Montpelier and CVRPC organized the Recreation District in order to plan, manage, and maintain the beach facility at the Wrightsville Reservoir.
Mad River Valley Planning District
Mad River Valley Planning District: The Towns of Fayston, Waitsfield and Warren formed this planning entity with CVRPC to focus on the impacts of development in the Mad River Valley.
Mad River Resource Management Alliance
Mad River Resource Management Alliance: An alliance of the Towns of Fayston, Waitsfield, Warren, Duxbury, Waterbury, Northfield and Roxbury to provide resource management of solid waste, including the disposal of electronics and hazardous waste.
