Mapping Vermont’s Natural Heritage

Vermont Fish & Wildlife has a newly-released publication, Mapping Vermont’s Natural Heritage.  The guide was written with community planners and conservation groups in mind, and it is intended to provide guidance on using state-available maps and data in local level planning and conservation work.  The guide has been mailed to every Vermont Town, along with a letter describing the resource.

Representatives from the Community Wildlife Program are available to provide additional copies and answer questions on the guide.  They can also provide details on how Fish & Wildlife sees the guide being used.  http://vtfishandwildlife.com/get-involved/partner-in-conservation/community-wildlife-program  |  Monica.Przyperhart@vermont.gov
