Municipal Building Efficiency

Fall Forums Scheduled on “Improving Efficiency in Municipal Buildings:” Efficiency Vermont, in partnership with the state’s regional planning commissions, will be holding a series of forums this fall to improve energy efficiency in public buildings. Although specifically addressed to towns, villages, and schools that have completed energy audits or similar assessments, this workshop will be helpful to any local official interested in learning about energy audits, efficiency improvements, and ways to finance those improvements. Speakers from Efficiency Vermont and a professional building energy efficiency company will make presentation and answer questions. (Please find schedule for the workshops below). For more information, contact: Paul Markowitz, Community Energy Program Manager, Efficiency Vermont 802 540 7608 or pmarkowitz@veic.org.

The workshop for Central Vermont is scheduled for December 6, 2012 at the Central VT Chamber of Commerce conference room in Berlin. Contact jackie Cassino at cassino@cvregion.com for time and details.

We hope to see representatives from every town there; it will be informative!
