Deadline Extended for FEMA Applications

FEMA officials announced Wednesday that the deadline for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) applications related to Irene has been extended to September 1. Vermont will establish its own deadlines for municipalities and other eligible applicants to meet FEMA’s deadline.
