West Central Vermont Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) and Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation (CVEDC) our partners in Addison, Chittenden, and Rutland Counties to develop a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for West Central Vermont.

A CEDS – or a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy – is a strategy-driven plan for regional economic development. A CEDS is the result of a regionally-led planning process designed to build capacity, support local initiatives, and develop economic resiliency.

Our CEDS will strengthen local economic partnerships within West Central Vermont and enable our region to meet current and anticipated economic challenges.

The following documents provide an economic data snapshot for Central Vermont and the West Central Vermont CEDS Region as a whole:  Central Vermont Economic Data Summary and West Central Vermont Economic Data Summary.
