Producers
Food and Farm Listings
The 23 Central Vermont Towns and Villages have over one hundred farms that produce fruits, vegetables, herbs, grains, livestock, poultry, dairy products, maple syrup and other food for local consumers. Many producers sell directly to consumers through farmers markets, farm stands and community-supported agriculture (CSAs); others sell through wholesale distribution channels or directly to stores or institutions. A regional and statewide food system needs to support all of these markets.
We hope to offer a comprehensive collection of lists from different counties and organizations that give information about producers who want to sell directly to consumers and those who sell to businesses.
